Winter is no longer just about hot chocolate and carols. This year, Kurt Geiger wants the holidays to smell like champagne, sound like laughter, and shine with the carefree glamour of a night that never ends. And who better to embody that spirit than Emily Ratajkowski, global muse and emblem of contemporary chic hedonism.
The campaign Holiday 2025: Your Invitation to Shine is a visual feast worthy of a modern Marie Antoinette: “Let them eat cake, drink champagne, and adorn themselves with jewels,” says creative director Rebecca Farrar-Hockley with playful irony. Because if anything defines Kurt Geiger, it’s his ability to blend luxury, humor, and a daring touch of fantasy.
Photographed by Laura Coulson, the campaign invites us to follow Emily on a winter getaway with friends. It’s a moral-free Christmas tale where the sparkle isn’t superficial — it’s a declaration of freedom. “At this time of year, I love to turn up the romance… but always keep it chic,” says Farrar-Hockley. The inspiration comes from classic feel-good holiday films, with a kitsch wink that borders on delicious.
A Party for the Senses
The collection is an ode to joyful excess: handbags disguised as desserts, champagne-bottle clutches, and a playful spirit that turns accessories into tiny objects of desire. Among the highlights: a two-tier pastel cake bag embellished with crystals and the cheeky “Kurt’s Fizz” clutch — perfect for your lipstick and your best-kept secret.
Kurt Geiger’s iconic eagle also gets a whimsical update: reimagined as crossbody bags, collectible charms, and oversized slippers for those who believe luxury never sleeps. London, as always, leaves its mark on the narrative — pigeons and Scotch eggs turned into witty charms, a dose of British humor amid all the sparkle.
The New Icons
The star newcomer is The Pimlico, a bold-shouldered handbag crowned with a golden eagle, exuding confidence. It comes in luxurious leather, shimmering pastel sequins, and a snow-pearl version that feels straight out of a dream.
The classic Shoreditch adopts a daring East-West silhouette, while the iconic Kensington takes center stage — dressed in crystals or rainbow harlequin quilting, radiating pure joy.
On the feet, the collection delivers a candy-box mix of textures and temptations: jewel-encrusted snow boots, pink lace ankle boots, ribbon-wrapped platforms, and crystal-strap sandals that seem to float off the dance floor. The Islington sneakers are reborn as party shoes in silver leather with golden bows, while the Octavia gladiators sparkle with oversized gems — proving that luxury, this season, doesn’t need heels.
Happy, Free, and Fabulous
The spirit of the collection is clear: celebrate without guilt, dress without fear, and shine without limits. Kurt Geiger and Emily Ratajkowski remind us that fashion, like joy, multiplies when shared. Between rainbow-thread scarves, gold rings with emerald crystals, and earrings perfect for Christmas stockings, this collection doesn’t just dress the holidays — it turns them into a sensorial experience.
Because in the Kurt Geiger universe, opulence isn’t excess. It’s emotion.
