Deconstructed streetwear, bold angles, and striking transparencies have taken center stage in the Taiwanese brand Seivson’s ss2026 collection, headed by Tzu Chin Shen, one of Asia’s most important emerging designers and winner of the 2023 Kyoto Globe Design Award in Japan.
Presented at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo, the collection merges timeless and cutting-edge trends with the brand’s signature elegance: immaculate precision, clean lines, and delicate silhouettes. Together, they set the tone for Asian metropolitan fashion, widely recognized for its simplicity and meticulous approach to color and form—without losing the twist that makes it a trendsetter.
Staying true to its hallmark of sharp –reinvented suits– Chin Shen introduces a redefinition of transparencies: a refined take on sensual and ethereal sophistication, crafted through a play of light and shadow where nothing is left to chance despite the fluidity on the runway. The designer elevates each look without excess, mastering an architecturally precise layering of trend-driven colors and prints—butter yellow, vibrant cherry red, and taupe brown. The folds of the fabrics fall with ease, integrating into the overall composition with the perfect imperfection characteristic of Asian haute couture.
Tzu Chin Shen doesn’t take reckless risks—she creates within a bubble of femininity and organic forms she knows by heart; a way of designing where every fold and surface maintains a sharpness that feels lifted straight from the original sketch. This inimitable way of working has positioned Seivson as the first Taiwanese brand highlighted by international media such as V ogue, Elle Japan, and Hypebeast, becoming the only Taiwanese womenswear label featured on HBX.
